While HRM is the branch of management which deals with the people factor of the organisation.

HRM is the policies, practices involved in carrying out the people aspect of an organisation in terms of recruitment, screening, training, rewarding and appraisal. HRM is the process of carrying out the different activities including acquisition, development, utilisation and maintenance of human resources of the organisation for achieving the desired goals efficiently and effectively.
